I have so much on my mind, I don't even know where to begin. So, I hella got the job at Levi's. I'm exciteddddd. I had orientation already, and I met most of my co-workers, but my real day of work begins tomorrow! I also have English tomorrow morning, whack! But aaanyways. Don't you hate when you feel like someone you're close to is being really weird around you, and they're hiding something from you? What do you do? It's one of those situations where you wanna confront them because you care, but you also wanna wait it out until they're ready to tell you. I over analyze everything, I really need to relax my mind, go sky diving or something. Or just party. HAHAAAAAAA. I'm excited for Halloween this year, because I am making my costume. But I'm also angry because I can't decide what I'm going to spend my Halloween Friday doing! Uhhhhh, I chose Pocahontas because of her long ass hair, and since mine is long as fuck tooo, might as well! And I'm gonna chop mine after the Vegas competition. :) This week is my first week, I guess you can say, to a brand new start? It's weird. I don't feel comfortable telling my journal yet, but I'll blog about it more later. Vince is a fag and he wants me to hurry up and post this blog so he can read it, WEAKO! HAHA. Aaaanyways, Ivana's Debut is this weekend, and I have work til 7pm on Saturday, so I'll be a little late attending.. |&HEARTS| It's been a long time [13 Aug 2008|01:14am] [ mood | crazy ] [ music | I wanna grow old with you-Adam Sandler ] It's been over a year since the last time I posted a blog on here. I made everything public just last week, and I've been reading all of my old entries. I don't even remember posting more than half of them! It's ridiculous how time passes, and I forgot all about this journal. I hope I stay consistant now, and even though I'm a year behind, I can continue this journal, starting with COLLEGE life. Being a highschool alumni is weird. Anyways, no one reads this, but I don't care. A lot happened my senior year of highschool, and I missed and loved all of it, and I'm sad that it's over, but I'm happy to move on. Enough of that, let's talk about now. I'm going CRAZY with cotillion errands and planning. It's in 10 days! I can't believe it. I still have a shitload of things to get done, and I don't know how I'm going to do it! My boyfriend is the greatest, and he took me on a stress-free get away this past weekend, back to his hometown, Monterey. He picked me up in this really cool rental car with navigation, picked up a quick breakfast at Wendy's, and went on our way. I was totally awake the whole drive, it was such a perfect weather day. Sunny, hot, and NO WIND! We finally arrived, and we drove down the strip to find parking. Walked along the beach while it was still sunny, then changed and walked over the the Monterey Bay Aquarium! It was the best ever, I can't even explain. We then ate dinner at Bubba Gump's, and the waiter forgot about the sampler we ordered, so it was on the house! Hella tight! It was basically the perfect day trip. On the way home, we stopped by Eastridge mall, and I found me the magenta pants I've been looking for everywhere! That night, we both went home to rest and change, then went to my friend's birthday party.. really fun. :) Enough typing, pictures much? ( My only summer vacation.. )

I spend too much money on mis unas, so my friend Myles told me to start taking pictures of them. I already missed hella, like my tiger stripe tips, my purple tips, my cand cane tips, my red tips, my black tips, my weird green and gold slanted tips, and i can't even fcken remember. WASTE, I need a job. I drivee around now!!! Haha, too bad I need my L's still. My sisssy just turned 20. She hella lets me drive her car now! And I got my braces off! It feels super gross, and I'm never gonna get used to it. HAHA. And I've been making soo many cupcakes the past two months. I didn't take pictures of all of them though. If you read Lauren's LJ, she made red velvet cupcakes, and fkcen get this, SO DID I!!! I HELLLLA told her ASAP, because I didn't read her LJ til AFTER I made them already! So Winterbreak started on Thursday, that being the last day of school. Dressin' up like Hoe-Elves was fun. Esp. in the cold rain! Then I forgot what the hell I did that day. Been doin' shitloads of shopping, spending ca$h I don't have, and not turning in work I should have. It's been fun. Pushing the truck out of the drive way while in neutral at 2am, and visiting our drunken guys was fun too. Our boys are so funny, I can just laugh for days around them, esp. when half are lit and half are gone. Friday, just hung out with T and Lee Lee, then went to the Christmas party with old friends. I had fun, even though me and Jen came fashionably late. Hurried and took shots so Haze could sober up quick. Don't fcken remember the rest, but I know it was fun, hah. It's just one of the million other nights with us. Saturday morning, I was so hungover I almost dieddddd. Couldn't fcken eat, laid in bed til 4? Showered and shit, ate some Chicken Noodle soup, went to the mall with Lee Lee. Couldn't really walk around, too crowded, and I was too queasy and shit, so I decided to just get my nails done while she shopped around. After that, fcken went home tired as shit. Haze, Toni, and Kayson picked me up for church around 8, even though it started at 7:30. After that I still could feel the alchy in me, so we drove around at 9:30pm lookin' for a place with Won Ton soup. Julesy pooo called and he had some soup at home, so we met up at Starbucks, and I ate it over there. I love you Julesyyyyy!! I was craving Jack in the Box like a maniac the whole fcken day, but Haze wouldn't let me have any cause I might've just yacked it out anyways. Kayson, Ecee, Julesy, Haze, Toni, and I crashed at Hazel's. Braided Hazel's hair, tried to teach Toni how to braid. The boys fcken brought Jack in the box anyways, so I was satisfied. Hazel just laughed at me and called me a fat assss beeyatch as I ate 2 tacos and a Supreme Croissant. Haaaaah. Then Roll, Andrew, and Jep came over and hung out with us tooo, it was gettin so fcken early in the morning. Danny, Phil, Josway, Josh, and Airon came through too, cause they were fcken driving around drunk, and needed somewhere to stop. They got wayy to outta hand for 4am, so Haze kicked em out. Tony , Roll, Jep, and Andrew left. Then Julesy left. Then the 4 of us left slept for a good hourrrr, then had to get outta bed at 5:30 for a 6am mass. Cj Cuyoung 32 years old -car accident These all happened just this week and last week. I'm overwhelmed. Even though I wasn't that close to these people, I was close to people who were close to them. It's soo sad, I just went to Cj's funeral last week, and this weekend I have another one for my Tito Efren. He's one of those distant uncles, but I feel really bad for my cousin Rochelle. She's only 12 or 13, and I can't imagine how I'd feel if I lost my dad at that age. Or any age. I just can't. I don't know what else to say. Rest in piece, I love you all.

The viewing was yesterday and today, and the fueneral is tomorrow. I went yesterday. It was my first open-casket viewing in soo many years. It was somewhat surreal. I'm going to the fueneral tomorrow. So today was Tamali'i's first in-house solo competition , meaning the participants are from our halau only, and it's mandatory. I liked my costume soo much better than my lame ass san jose fete one last year. Oh well, haha. I had fun though! Everyone looked good, and everyone did good. I think I did okay, I was happy with my performance. I liked the whole vibe today. I wish my sisters came out to watch, though. My mom and dad left too early, cause my category is so big, my dad got restless and they left. Right when they left, Aunty called my name! DAMN! Oh well. We're gonna find out the Top 5 highest scores in each category on Tuesday. My category is like, the fcken hardest, so I'm not even trippin if I don't get on that. Hahaaaa. So I've been shopping a LOT this week and last! It's about time! Before that, I never went! November was like, NO-shopping for me! And October, I probably went like, once. HAHA, but I went Thrifting with the boys, Jepoy, Steevo, Tj, and Alisonn. It was ffunny, cause the boys got grandpa sweaters and blazers for winterball. Me and Alison got some earrangs and purses. I spent under 10$! Weeeeee! I'm going to Arroyo's winterball too, I think. It's December 9th! Ohh man. I got a dress for it already! I hella love it. The dress for mine, I don't, but it's the only thing I could find to match Jay. Jay's my random date, haha. For Arroyo's I'm going with Aaron. I'll post pictures of that dress, cause I like it a lot. I havee In-house solo competition on Sunday too! MAN! Packed week! Uhhhhh. I'll post pictures of that after it happens. The Vahine are split in six categories. Advanced, Intermediate, and Beginner, then each one of those are split in two, ages 12-16 and ages 17 and up, making six categories, and I'm in Advanced ages 12-16. That was a long ass run-on sentence! HAHA, Okay I have to clean and eat dinner. OMG LAUREN, MY ROOMS BEEN CLEAN FOR THE PAST WEEK! I cleaned it on Sunday the 20th, and it's been hella clean since! Tahiti Fete 2006 just past about a month ago, and I didn't post any pictures of that, so that'll be the consistancy of this blog. Aloha Fest 2006 was also just this past weekend, but I didn't take any pictures, but I'll find some from people and post those later. I've been having such a let's-just-do-it summer! Nothings really been planned at all! But I've been doing a lot, I guess. I just finished summer school, so I'm glad I have my real summer now. Let's see..walmart runs, s'mores nights, swimming days, spas, movies, rentals, cookings, baking, paint-buying, ikea-looking, tea-cake shop, thrifting, alameda alameda, sushi houses galore, bart bart and more bart, there was actually a week where I went to the city four times, haha, spare the air. I don't know, there's a lot more. I guess I should feel lucky that I live so close to San Fran. I used to take it for granted, and now I realize how easy I have it, just to walk to bart and take a 20 minute ride. It's great, I'm actually going there today to get my hair cut! My hairs like, an inch or two from touching my jeans waistline! HELLA LONG! It's crazy. I don't even have bangs anymore, the blonde is all gone. It's just all black. I'm excited for my haircut. I love summer, I'm soo excited to be a Junior, and I got my permit yesterday! If I stay on task, I'll have my license by January/February! I still have a long list on my summer agenda; Reno with my sisters for my birthday, that weekend also is Heiva I Reno, and we're staying in the same hotel as the competition, so that means sexy poly boys, right? Haha, nah I'm not looking, but my sisters sure are! HAHA, but I also gotta run to Vallejo to hang out with my dearest, ya'll know her name. :) And I gotta catch up with my nuts, and I gotta turn in all my job applications! I gotta start running again too! My speed is decreasing, and Tahiti is gonna be CRAZY next year! Before school starts, me and my sisters are gonna get pampered 'cause we never do that! Mani, Pedi, Eyebrows, Sit on the beach and tan, you knowwwww. I love my sisters, I love my summer, and I love this new bracelett my Auntie got me! YEEEEE, life is good. Yes, we placed 1STTTTTT! I'm so proud of us, :) Ahuroa The keiki after they sang for the Tupuna Ahuroa, which placed first also! Go moms! and again. Then we had a lunch break, and during that we finished our hipe's. Then straight to 'Otea/Aparima. It was SOO FUN. The lights are soo bright you can't even see anyone. |2 $s | &HEARTS| IaoRana! [02 Jul 2006|02:59am] [ mood | exhausted ] Man. Today was a longgggg day. I just got home now. So, woke up at 6:40 and had to leave the house by 6:45. Kinda sucked, but we ended up leaving at 7 to San Jose. Got there around 7;45ish, checked in, Aunty Lena made my head piece out of the ti leafs Erika gave me. As I was getting dressed around 9;30ish, Jas put all my flowers and sticks on my headpiece and on my head. Solo prelimiaries are sooooo fckn nerve racking! I stood in line with Nikki because they kept calling our names. In 13-15 age, I was in the 3rd group. Each group was 4 girls at a time this year! Last year it was five! And now we can't go side to side, only front and back traveling. Backstage, some of the girls were talking to me, they were nice. The beats were soo recognizable, I felt sort of better about it, I thought I was gonna do okay, til I got on stage. GOOOOOODNESS, I let my nerves get to me! I didn't even fcken think! I don't remember what I did! I performed around 10:15 I think? I'm not sure. OHHHH man, I was hella tearing up after! I could've tore it up on stage, but my nerves totally killed me! I was putting my sweater on and I was hella tearing up oh man, Alex was talking to me about it being just my first time, and that next time my nerves won't be there anymore cause all I'll want is to prove myself from the year before. SO TRUE! Before you go on stage, you don't even wanna go once, then when you get off, you hella wanna go again and rip it out there! MANNNN. It's okay, I tried, at least I have the experience now. I didn't take much pictures, but I'll post some up later. Nah, I didn't make finals, barely anyone from our group did! Only 3 girls! 1 from 19-24yrs, 1 from 13-15yrs, and 1 from 5-8yrs. Afterwards, it ended at 3, went to Jamba Juice, ate at Jollibee, and went straight to practice. Practice ended early cause we were all burned out and dead tired. Went home around 7, rested for an hour, braided Ate Ro's hair, left to go to the studio around 9 to finish our costumes and things, and we really did get a lot done! Just got home around 3, and now I'm DEAD tired. 8 Gauges rockkkkkk!! Me and Auni are BEASTS! Gotta sleep though, gotta wake up early to watch solo finals! Goodnight!

My confirmation retreat is this Friday to Sunday! I'm excited. It's also Show Seaason! And San Jose Competition is coming up! Oh man, it's exciting. I'm don't think I'm doing solos this year, I don't even think I want to start that whole solo competition thing. Maybe in a few years. Haa, who knows. I also am getting confirmed June, 10, 2006! Ann Jilliyan's cotty is coming up toooooo! I'm happy for her. I don't know what else to say. I'lll update this more often with more photos. Laaaater. Ps.
